In order to be a player in the pickup truck segment, personalization is a must. In other words, the buyer of a pickup must be able to "build" it in his image.

Nissan is working hard to convince picky and loyal pickup truck buyers to look in their direction. The addition of a regular cab version for the Titan and Titan XD should at least attract buyers of fleet and work trucks. An eight foot box will be standard with this configuration.

All versions of the Titan can be fitted with the 5.6-liter Endurance V8 gasoline engine. It produces 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque. Those who opt for the Titan XD instead also have access to the Cummins 5.0-liter turbodiesel V8, good for 310 horsepower and 555 lb-ft of torque.

Over time, three cabin configurations, with as many body lengths and engines (a V6 will be added later) will be offered to pickup truck buyers. With all this, the choice of 4x2 and 4x4 cogs as well as numerous trim levels will ensure a great possibility of customization.

The regular cab therefore joins the crew cab of the Titan XD and Titan, and once all planned versions are launched, Nissan says its full-size pickup will cover 85% of the market.
